About Wild by Nature

I'm Gabbie, the maker behind Wild by Nature, based in Brora in the Scottish Highlands.

Wild by Nature grew from a simple idea, to create honest, handmade skincare using quality ingredients and traditional methods. Inspired by the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands, where I now live, and the rugged coastline of Cornwall, where I grew up and raised my family, I create small-batch products designed for everyday use.

I work with natural oils, tallow, milk, beeswax, honey, and botanicals, carefully choosing ingredients for the way they nourish and care for the skin. Whenever possible, I source ingredients locally, including honey and beeswax from my own hives and those of fellow beekeepers here in Brora.

Every product is made by hand in small batches, allowing me to focus on quality, simplicity, and craftsmanship. My recipes are thoughtfully formulated to create practical, effective skincare without unnecessary ingredients.

Wild by Nature reflects my love of nature, traditional skills, and slower living. I also strive to make environmentally conscious choices, using packaging that can be recycled, composted, or repurposed wherever possible.

I don't aim for perfection. Instead, I focus on creating honest skincare made with carefully considered ingredients that are crafted to be used, enjoyed, and trusted every day.

 

Safety & Transparency

  • Each skincare product is handmade in small batches in Brora, in the Scottish Highlands.
  • Skincare products are all fully certified with a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR)
  • All products are registered with the UK Government, meeting all current cosmetic regulations.

Ethical Sourcing

  • Cruelty-free, I never test on animals and neither do my suppliers.
  • All products are palm oil - free and use ingredients chosen for their ethical and sustainable origins.
  • I use only pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrances or colours.
