Make Your Own Household Cleaner

I think it’s good to be self reliant, being able to make your own household cleaner means you know exactly what ingredients you are spraying around your home. You will also be reusing a plastic bottle, saving money, and there are no nasty hidden chemicals. 

• 450ml hot boiled water
• 1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda 
• 1 tablespoon mild liquid soap (I use Castile)
• 1 tablespoon borax substitute (optional)
• 10-15 drops eucalyptus essential oil 

Add all the ingredients into your saved bottle, shake well and get cleaning. 

Remember, bicarbonate of soda is slightly abrasive even when dissolved in hot water, so may not be suitable for all surfaces.
