Cailleach – Lavender & Lemongrass Natural Soap

Cailleach, Lavender & Lemongrass is a handmade natural soap scented with a beautifully balanced blend of lavender and lemongrass essential oils. Crafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method, this natural soap bar produces a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses while leaving a calm, uplifting floral citrus aroma.

Lavender brings a soft, soothing floral note while lemongrass adds a bright citrus freshness. Together they create a balanced fragrance that feels both calming and revitalising. A touch of turmeric powder lends the bar its warm golden colour, entirely naturally.

Each bar is handmade in the Scottish Highlands using nourishing plant oils and pure essential oils, with no synthetic fragrance. The slow cold process method allows the soap to cure naturally, producing a long-lasting bar that is rich in natural glycerin and kind to your skin.

Minimum bar weight 100g

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Shea Butter, Lavender & Lemongrass Essential Oils, Turmeric Powder.

Handmade soap contains no hardeners, so it will soften if left in standing water. Use with a draining soap dish to avoid this. Please recycle or compost the paper band — once your soap has gone there is no trace.

Did you know? In Scottish and Gaelic mythology, the Cailleach is an ancient divine figure associated with winter, storms, and the wild landscape of the Highlands. She is said to have shaped the mountains and lochs with her staff, and her name means ‘old woman’ or ‘veiled one’ in Scottish Gaelic. It felt like the right name for a soap rooted in the land she is said to have made.
