Handmade soap contains no hardeners, so it will soften if left in standing water. Use with a draining soap dish to avoid this. Please recycle or compost the paper band, so once your soap has gone there is no trace.
Did you know Citronella Oil comes from a species of aromatic grass in the genus Cymbopogon, the same botanical group that produces lemongrass. The plants evolved these sharp citrus compounds as natural chemical defences, which is why the scent is so distinctive and penetrating even in small amounts.
