Turmeric Soap

Turmeric is a handmade natural soap enriched with turmeric, a vibrant golden root long used in traditional skincare. Crafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method, this natural soap bar produces a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses while bringing a warm, natural colour to the bar.

Turmeric gives the soap its distinctive golden hue and a subtle earthy character. The result is a simple, natural soap made with carefully selected ingredients and no synthetic fragrance.

Each bar is handmade in the Scottish Highlands using nourishing plant oils and natural botanicals. The slow cold process method allows the soap to cure naturally, producing a long-lasting bar that is rich in natural glycerin and gentle on your skin

Handmade soap contains no hardeners, so it will soften if left in standing water. Use with a draining soap dish to avoid this. Please recycle or compost the paper band, so once your soap has gone there is no trace.

 Did you know that the intense yellow-orange tone comes from a compound called curcumin. Plants evolved molecules like this partly to protect themselves from sunlight and microbes, and humans eventually discovered that those same pigments could be used in food, dye and traditional skin preparations. That is why a small amount of turmeric can colour an entire bar of soap so vividly.
